‘Don’t call my husband sweetheart’: Wife leaves note, refuses to tip waitress

A waitress at a restaurant was left with a note instead of a tip after she called a customer “sweetheart’ while serving.

The New York Post shared a note left for a waitress by a wife who refused to tip after she called her husband “sweetheart” in the restaurant.

The note shared on X, reveals that the couple’s bill was $32.76 (R617) and that they didn’t tip the waitress after she made advances on the husband in front of the wife.

“Don’t call my husband sweetheart,” wrote the wife and no extra money was given.

While many social media users lambasted the waitress for flirting with the husband, some called the wife insecure and childish for not tipping the waitress.
