How a 20-year-old man won R22 million Lotto

The South African man, who is only 20-years-old says persistence has paid off after walking away with R22 million in the lottery.

MAN BAGS R22 MILLION

Briefly reports that the man won R22 million in the Ithuba National Lottery on Saturday, 19 August had previously won R11 000 playing the Lotto.

The Hillbrow man, who won exactly R22,463,200.90 in the national lottery revealed to TshisaLIVE that he always believed he would win.

“I always believed I could win the jackpot, as I’ve seen other players win. Persistence truly pays off.”

The young man, who prefers to remain anonymous wagered R40 and selected his own six lucky numbers also reveals that he consistently played the same numbers each time and it finally paid off.

WHAT HE PLANS TO DO WITH LOTTO MONEY

Ithuba reports that the 20-year-old winner plans to invest his R22 million Lotto jackpot in property.

Ithuba CEO Charmaine Mabuza reveals they are overjoyed to witness yet another life-changing moment created through the National Lottery.

“This success story underscores the life-enhancing impact the National Lottery can have. We wish the winner all the best as they embark on this new chapter, and we look forward to supporting their dreams and aspirations.”

Ithuba also announced that another South African from Stellenbosch won R32,785,982.10 from the Lotto Plus 1 jackpot from the 16 August with a wager amount of R40.
