A 42-year-old man was left injured after his company vehicle drove over him in KwaZulu-Natal

On Thursday, 9 March, a company vehicle ran over a 42 year old man on Old Main Road in Ottawa, KwaZulu-Natal, causing him moderate injuries.

Upon arriving at the scene at approximately 10:41, members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) found a male lying in a prone position on an embankment.
They determined that he was the driver of a Hyundai H100 bakkie, which he had parked and then disembarked from.

Shortly after, the vehicle began to roll, prompting him to try and stop it.
Unfortunately, he was run over as the vehicle continued to roll and eventually crashed into a ditch across the road.

After receiving treatment for his injuries, the driver was transported to the hospital by ambulance.
