Family of slain Bokgabo, 4, still hopes to find missing body parts
Family of a four-year-old Bokgabo Poo who was raped and mutilated still awaits answers from the stand accused, Ntokozo Zikhali, 28.

The family of slain Bokgabo Poo,4, still awaits answers about their daughter’s body parts from Ntokozo Zikhali, 28, who stands accused of raping and mutilating her body.
The South African previously reported that Poo was kidnapped on 10 October 2022 at a local park in Wattville, Benoni, Gauteng.
Her body was discovered mutilated a day later in Tamboville by a woman who had been sweeping her yard but came across human legs protruding from the ground.
ZIKHALI CAUGHT ON CAMERA WITH POO
Zikhali was allegedly caught on camera by a CCTV camera of a local tavern walking with Poo.
The footage circulated on social media and once he knew of its existence, he allegedly fled to Boksburg.

On 14 October 2022, he went to a petrol station where a petrol attendant pointed him out to the police.
He was then arrested and charged with rape, murder, defeating the ends of justice and violating a body.
POO LAID TO REST WITH MISSING BODY PARTS
Poo was laid to rest despite the missing body parts which have still not been found.
The stand accused made a brief appearance in the Benoni Magistrates Court on Tuesday, 14 February 2023.

The matter was postponed for instructions of the director of public prosecution (DPP) on whether the matter would be tried in the regional or the high court.
FAMILY STILL SEEKS ANSWERS, HOPES TO FIND MISSING BODY PARTS
“We do not know the truth about what is happening but investigations are still ongoing. We need the truth to come out. We still have hope that we will find the other body parts,” The Citizen quoted family spokesperson Themba Seya as saying.
This is not the first time Zikhali faces charges of rape.
By the time of the alleged kidnapping and murder of Poo, he had recently been out on bail for the rape of a 9-year-old girl.
