‘HEART OF INVICTUS’ FAILS TO MAKE NETFLIX’S TOP 10

Prince Harry’s Netflix series Heart of Invictus, which looks at the Invictus games competitors failed to rank on Netflix’s Top 10 list. The series released on Wednesday 30 August.

Both Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle appear in the series. The five-part docuseries is part of the couple’s multi-million dollar deal with Netflix which began in 2020.

While many of the hits on Netflix appear on their Top 10 list, The Mirror reports that Heart of Invictus did not make it to the Netflix Top 10 in the UK.

However, the couple’s six-part docuseries titled Harry & Meghan, which released in December last year, broke records at the time.

WHAT WE KNOW ABOUT THE SERIES

Prince Harry and Meghan’s production company Archewell Productions produced the docuseries.

Heart of Invictus is a documentary following the story of six individuals on their healing journeys as they compete in the 2022 Invictus Games. The Invictus Games was founded by Prince Harry to aid wounded and injured servicemen and women back in 2014.

The docuseries is directed by Orlando von Einsiedel (Virunga). Prince Harry is the executive producer.

“The games don’t focus on what causes the injury,” Prince Harry said in the trailer. “But really about recovery, and how to be a part of a community again.”

Heart of Invictus will premiere on Netflix on 30 August.
