Cape Town police looking for Akhile Mkundlu

A distraught mother is looking for her son Akhile Mkundlu. The 28-year-old was last seen on Sunday, 27 August in Cape Town.

Imagine the mom and family’s agony. A Cape Town family is seeking assistance to find their missing son Akhile Mkundlu.

MAN GOES MISSING IN GUGULETHU, CAPE TOWN

According to the police report, the 28-year-old Mkhundlu was last seen by his mother on Sunday 27 in Gugulethu.

He was scheduled to report for work on Monday but never made the appearance.

His mother says he wore a black hoodie, grey pants and Crocs.

“Gugulethu police are seeking the assistance of the public to trace 28-year-old Akile Prince Mkundlu of NY 108 Nr 7 in Gugulethu, who is missing,” Cape Town warrant officer Joseph Swartbooi said.

“He was reportedly last seen by his mother on Sunday, 27 August 2023.

“His mother registered a missing person report after being notified that he never reported for work. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing grey tracksuit pants, a pair of crocs, a white tracksuit top and black hooded jacked. 

“Anyone who can assist with information that will lead to Akile’s safe return is kindly requested to contact the investigating officer Captain Petrus Fouche on 066 242 1686 or alternatively call Crime Stop on 08600 10111,” the report concluded.
