A suspect who allegedly torched a truck on the N2 between Ermelo and Piet Retief in Mpumalanga was captured by an in-cab camera. This comes as four trucks were set alight in the early hours on Wednesday, 12 July and one person was injured. In a video that has been circulated online, a truck driver can be seen getting off the truck as fast as he could after the alleged suspect ordered him to do so. The suspect then enters the truck and takes a flammable liquid out of a light plastic he was carrying and sets the truck alight.
