Eskom has confirmed load shedding will remain suspended until in the evening – Stage 2 to be implemented from 16:00. The power utility said in a tweet that the move is due to lower demand in the country. “Owing to stable generation capacity with breakdowns at 13 158MW and planned maintenance at 6 051MW of generation capacity, loadshedding will remain suspended today until 16:00 on Monday. Thereafter, Stage 2 loadshedding will be implemented from 16:00 until 05:00 on Tuesday. Loadshedding will then be suspended from 05:00 until 16:00 and Stage 2 implemented from 16:00 until 05:00 on Wednesday,” said Eskom.
