Next week, SASSA will begin payment for all eligible beneficiaries starting on Wednesday 2 August with the older person’s grant.  Recipients are reminded that they do not need to rush and withdraw the money on day it is available as SASSA would not reverse the money.  All beneficiaries are able to withdraw the money at retail partners such as Spar, Checkers,  Pick n Pay, Boxer, Shoprite as well as ATM’s and the Post Office.  Beneficiaries are also able to use the SASSA gold cards as normal debit cards to make purchases in store. Older persons- 2 August, Disability- 3 August and Children’s grants (and all others)- 4 August.
