The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) have released payment dates for 2023 October’s social grants. Older Persons Grants would have been issued on the 3^rd of October (TODAY), but other grants like the R350 grant will be able to collect later this week. Here’s a reminder of when to collect your payments, and what to do if you can’t. The payment date for the Disability Grant is: Wednesday, 4 October. With APPROVED grant status, you can collect your Disability Grant this week. Approved retailers and Regional Offices are valid collection points. The SASSA Disability Grant also increases by R10 this week. Remember that you will need your Identity Document and phone number to collect your social grant. Other grant payments, such as the R350 SRD grant, will only be paid to beneficiaries later: Thursday, October 5.
