According to a report in the The Daily Voice, a 32-year-old man was apprehended by members of the public after he was found in possession of a human penis at the Fingoland Shopping Mall in Butterworth, a town in the Eastern Cape last Thursday. It is believed he was looking for a buyer to sell the body part to. The suspect appeared in the Butterworth Magistrate’s Court on Monday, on charges of unlawful possession of human tissue. But police spokesperson, warrant officer Majola Nkohli, has confirmed that a charge of attempted murder will be added to the suspect’s charge sheet.
