A woman who hired a male escort to break her virginity is now speaking out about her experience and encouraging others to explore their sexuality. Melanie Hawkes, a 43-year-old woman from Australia, told the BBC about her first sexual encounter – including why she decided to finally do it. Melanie has been wheelchair-bound since she was a child. She suffers from transverse myelitis, which is a disorder affecting the spinal cord. The condition left her as a quadriplegic and with limited movement in her arms. Melanie, who works as a video editor, told the broadcaster that due to her condition, she never considered romance and intimacy. The first time she experienced anything even remotely similar was when she was living in Japan at age 19.
It wasn’t long before Melanie was on the internet and came across a website, where male escorts popped up. She saw a profile she liked – a handsome man named Chayse, who had studied sexology and had previously serviced clients with disabilities. They eventually met and had their first encounter – an erotic massage, which was meant to ease her into whole experience. Chayse was the man who broke her virgnity.
