The Democratic Alliance (DA) in Gauteng says it is becoming very clear that Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi’s Nasi iSpani job initiative is nothing more than a cadre deployment scheme.  The party says what was touted as a solution to unemployment is quickly becoming a scandal, revealing Lesufi’s exploitation of the issue of unemployment for political gain. This comes as pictures of physical CVs of applicants being torn apart and thrown away in Nasrec and Lancaster Walk-In Centers were circulated online. In addition, a video of ANC members appearing to be processing other applications separate from the official set-up processes outside Faranani Multi Purpose Center in Ekurhuleni.
