Kaizer Chiefs boss Cavin Johnson says he expects the club to be quiet in the January window. We’d be surprised if nobody arrived though. According to an aggregated set of recent local media reports, Chiefs could be looking at/interested in as many as 10 players. The list includes a goalkeeper, two left-backs, three attacking midfielders, a winger and three strikers. It’s no secret that with Itumeleng Khune out of favour and Brandon Petersen not trusted by the club, a new number 1 goalkeeper is high on the agenda. With Sifiso Hlanti now aged 33, left-back is also a problem area. Ranga Chivaviro and Jasond Gonzalez have failed to convince up top so strikers will always be linked to Naturena.
