Kaizer Chiefs are currently fourth on the DStv Premiership log, three points behind third-placed SuperSport United and as many as five adrift of second-placed Pirates. A second place finish appears out of reach, but they will at least want to apply some pressure by claiming what should be a comfortable win over Swallows, who dwell down in 13th place. Coach Arthur Zwane has now offered an update on the state of the squad.
“After playing the game against Chippa United we only had one day to prepare the team. We are missing Brandon (Petersen) because of suspension and we are missing other players because of injuries, such as (Edmilson) Dove, and Keagan (Dolly) is going to be out for the rest of the season. We have other players fighting their way back to full fitness.
