The Road Traffic Management Corporation (RTMC) is urging owners of motor vehicles to take early measures to renew their licenses in order to avoid penalties since more than a million motor vehicle licenses are scheduled to expire in September. Due to the numerous extensions of the expiration date for motor vehicle licenses that were granted during the COVID-19 era, a significant portion of renewals took place in the months of August, September, October, November, and December. “As a result, a total of 1,04, 412 motor vehicle licenses must be renewed by the end of this month (September). After the expiration date, there is a 21-day grace period during which you can renew without paying any more money. Following that, arrears and fines for late renewal will be changed,” according to RTMC.
