According to Maasai Sightings, this sighting occurred at Maasai Mara.

Despite the heavy frame and build, all big cats, including the Lions and Lionesses, can crouch, walk closely with their chests toward the ground and surprise their prey from behind. Lions are masters of the stealth approach. Their padded feet make barely a sound on soft grass and sand. And their tan-colored coats blend into their natural habitat. A lion’s prey seldom sees it coming until it’s too late.
