Dear Mr Zuma, your time is up [video]
Just over a year ago this video came out, highlighting the president – and presidency’s – blunders, hoping to move the populous towards change. That didn’t happen, but there’s another election on the horizon.
The video, voiced by Sizwe Mpofu-Walsh and released by LongTalk2Freedom, caused quite a stir when first released, but what’s more interesting is how it’s almost become more relevant now than ever before.
In the song, Sizwe highlights Nkandla, now an even bigger headache; the Gupta plane landing, replace landing with al-Bashir’s Waterkloof escape and Marikana, of which the official report was released recently.
The issues remain the same, more or less, but their scope seems to be increasing at a quickening pace.
Here it is, Mr Zuma… your time is up. Or is it?
