It’s a new month and you what that means: New games were added to the PlayStation Network (PSN), free to download as part of your monthly PlayStation Plus rewards for PS4.

Don’t miss out – Sony confirmed that more than 94 million active users are regularly clocking time on the PlayStation Network. In fact, just over 90% of all consoles ever have connected over the last 12 months.

Here are the games you’d be able to download for free from 4 June 2019, if you have a PSN Plus subscription. Read more about the benefits of having a premium subscription here.

You still have a few hours to download May’s games – Overcooked and What Remains of Edith Finch – before the new games are added.

Borderlands: The Handsome Collection

The Handsome Collection packs are an improvement on versions of both Borderlands 2 and The Pre-Sequel. That means it’s the ideal way to catch up on the series before Borderlands 3 arrives later this year.

It’s a great compilation and will give you some insight in Jack’s story, from his rise as a Hyperion programmer to the very top. In addition, it plays a major role in Pandora’s history.

Be prepared for spectacular visuals with this month’s PSN offer. The BHC has a video output of 1080p running at 60 frames per second, which allows game-play to move along at a reasonable pace.

Sonic Mania

Sporting stunning HD retro-style graphics, Sonic Mania gives you the opportunity to relive the ‘Sonic of the past with an exciting new twist,’ PlayStation promises. Furthermore:

“Go head-to-head with players in Competition Mode or play in Co-Op Mode with a friend. Sonic Mania was developed by Christian Whitehead, Headcannon, and PagodaWest Games in collaboration with Sonic Team.”

The 2D graphics and vibrant ’90s-inspired pop soundtrack is enough to bring those memories back a-flooding.

The game takes place shortly after the events of Sonic & Knuckles, and features Sonic himself, as well as Tails and Knuckles. Bless! You’ll also be treated to new tracks and remixes of the greatest hits.
