It is time for the Thanksgiving tradition known as the Survivor Series!

It’s been a week of crazy booking and Survivor Series is all set to deliver some controversy, something it has become known for. Catch up on some of the most shocking moments here.

Elimination Tag Match:
Team Raw (Bobby Roode & Chad Gable, The Revival, The B-Team, Lucha House Party & The Ascension) vs Team Smackdown (The Usos, The New Day, sAniTY, The Good Brothers & The Colons)

Result: Dash Wilder pins Primo to eliminate The Colons ; Karl Anderson pins Bo Dallas to eliminate The B-Team; Bobby Roode pins Eric Young to eliminate sAniTY; Big E pins Viktor to eliminate The Ascension; Gran Metalik pins Karl Anderson to eliminate The Good Brothers; Jay Uso pins Lince Dorado to eliminate Lucha House Party; Big E pins Chad Gable to eliminate Roode & Gable; Dash Wilder pins Xavier Woods to eliminate the New Day; Jimmy Uso pins Scott Dawson, The Usos are the sole survivors.

Backstage, Sasha Banks and Bayley are added to the RAW women’s team to replace Ruby Riott and Natalya.

Women’s Elimination Match
Team RAW (Mickie James, Nia Jaxx, Tamina, Bayley & Sasha Banks) vs Team Smackdown (Carmella, Naomi, Sonya de Ville, Asuka and Mandy Rose)

Result: Tamina eliminates Naomi with a superkick; Carmella eliminates Tamina; Mandy Rose eliminates Mickie James; Bayley eliminates Carmella; Sasha Banks taps out Mandy Rose; Bayley and Sonya De Ville are counted out to be eliminated; Asuka taps Sasha Banks after Jaxx bits her from behind to eliminate her, Nia Jaxx pins Asuka out of nowhere to win for RAW and surprisingly be the sole Survivor.

Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins vs US Champion Shinsuke Nakamura

Result: Seth Rollins pins Shinsuke after a Curb stomp. Phenomenal match here.

RAW Tag Team Champions Authors of Pain (Akam & Rezar) vs Smackdown Tag Team Champions The Bar (Sheamus & Cesaro) with The Big Show

Result: The AOP win after Drake Maverick pees his pants and The Bar are distracted. Yes, really.

WWE Cruiserweight Championship:
Buddy Murphy (c) vs Mustafa Ali

Result: Buddy Murphy retains over Mustafi Ali. Crowd was into this one.

Men’s Elimination Match
Team RAW  ( Dolph Ziggler, Drew McIntyre, Braun Strowman, Finn Bálor & Bobby Lashley) vs Team Smackdown (Shane McMahon, The Miz, Jeff Hardy, Samoa Joe & Rey Mysterio)

Result: Drew McIntyre pins Samoa Joe almost immediately to eliminate Joe. Chants of “Bullsh!t” fill the arena; Rey Mysterio pins Finn Bálor; Shane pins Dolph after a coast-to-coast *sigh*; Braun pins Jeff Hardy; Braun pins Mysterio; Braun pins The Miz; Braun pins Shane McMahon. Strowman, Lashley & McIntyre are your survivors. Absolute embarrassment of a match.

Ronda Rousey vs Charlotte Flair

Result: Ronda wins via DQ when Charlotte snaps and destroys Ronda with kendo sticks and a chair. Brutal beatdown.

WWE Champion Daniel Bryan vs Universal Champion Brock Lesnar

Result: Lesnar pins Bryan after an F5….the match started as an absolute squash and then suddenly turned to Daniel dominating. Strange one, but entertaining match in the end. O

Overall one of the worst PPVs of the year.

Where to watch WWE Survivor series in South Africa

As ever, it will be live on SuperSport. The kick off show will start at 0:00 on Monday morning with matches beginning at 2:00. All of this will be on SuperSport 4 with repeats on SuperSport 9 from 17:00 on the same day.
