WWE Smackdown LIVE: Results an

This week, the very first moment of Smackdown LIVE may be a reality at WWE Money In The Bank. Samoa Joe set up a ladder to retrieve a briefcase. Symbolism. Soon after, Joe made it quite literal when he said that he’ll bring Daniel Bryan beyond a forced retirement.

Daniel Bryan walked out and declared that Joe crossed the line. He not only wanted the match to start now but also to break Joe’s leg upon opening Smackdown. Big Cass begged to differ, claiming that he’s been booked to replace Bryan in the main event. Odd, we thought he was injured. His assault on both Samoa Joe and Daniel Bryan proved otherwise.

In that case, GM Paige made a quick booking decision, turning the main event into a triple threat; Big Cass vs. Samoa Joe vs. Daniel Bryan.

Shinsuke Nakamura is absolutely obsessed with counting to 10, in preparation for his Last Man Standing match against WWE Champion AJ Styles. He’s been tossing numbered note cards around the halls and counting out Tye Dillinger when knocked out in their match. What an oddball.

Two matches have been booked for Smackdown LIVE next week. After a car crash of a dance-off between Naomi and Lana, there will be a mixed tag team match. Jimmy Uso and Naomi will face Lana and Aiden English.

Tension seems to be brewing between best friends Charlotte Flair and Becky, over who is going to win the Money In The Bank ladder match. They will engage in singles combat in the next episode of Smackdown LIVE.
