WWE Rumours: Brock Lesnar to turn up at Money in the Bank hunting Cody Rhodes

It has been floated as a possibility that Brock Lesnar might return to WWE to continue his war with Cody Rhodes at Money in the Bank.

It has been floated as a possibility that Brock Lesnar might return to WWE to continue his war with Cody Rhodes at Money in the Bank.

Rhodes got the win in this blood feud with Brock Lesnar with a roll-up before he was dismantled and passed out in a Kimora at Night of champions.

Lesnar has been absent from WWE since while an injured Rhodes turned up for work on Raw soon after.

However it now seems as though the story might not be finished between these two men.

Cody Rhodes is set to take on Dominik Mysterio at Money in the Bank on Saturday 1 July but insiders have indicated that Brock Lesnar has made the trip to London as well.

According to respected Twitter dirt sheet WRKD Wrestling: “Brock Lesnar is expected to appear at Money In The Bank to set up a third match with Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam.”

This means that Rhodes might well be in for another brutal attack at the hands of the Beast Incarnate in London.

The rumour mill has suggested that this feud could be set to culiminate at SummerSlam in a Bullrope match.

Other plans

In other Money in the Bank news it seems that there will be an extended feud between Sheamus and United States Champion Austin Theory set up at the O2 Arena.

Those plans are also said to lead right into the SummerSlam show.

Money in the Bank this weekend will be notable for its pair of titular ladder matches with briefcases loaded with a guaranteed title shot contract.

Also on the card for the event in London will be the Blood line Civil War tag team match and Seth Rollins defence of the World Heavyweight Title against Finn Balor.
