WWE RAW: Results, live stream and video highlights – 18 September 2018

WWE Raw is coming at ya again. Here’s everything you need to know about this week’s show. We’ve got the line-up, results and the highlights right here.

WWE RAW: Results, live stream

It’s the night following a memorable Hell In A Cell event, and we’re getting right into it with the WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns making his way down to the ring…very slowly, which gives us more time to hear the boos, to be fair, a lot lot of kids are cheering him.

Reigns addresses the reemergence of former champ Brock Lesnar. It’s a restless crowd as Reigns gets the “What?” treatment after every sentence. He calls out Lesnar, but instead of a Beast incarnate, he’s getting a monster as Braun Strowman heads out. Braun wants Brock first.

General Manager Constable Baron Corbin heads down to stop the madness. Huge “You Suck” chant, Corbin does a good job by shutting them up. He announces a triple threat match for the next Saudi Arabia event, called Crown Jewel in November. Braun thinks everything sucks. We can’t help but agree.

Out next is…the red Hell In a Cell door that Brock Lesnar kicked in last night. No, seriously, out comes the door, and Paul Heyman. Paul cuts a lengthy promo before Braun chases him away. In the ring, Reigns bullies Corbin. Corbin is actually fantastic in this role, his delivery is smarmy and on point. He puts an injured Roman Reigns in a championship match tonight…against himself!

Dean Ambrose vs Drew McIntyre

Result: McIntyre pins Ambrose clean with a Claymore kick.

Backstage Constable Corbin congratulates Drew on his win. He promises he will take out Reigns tonight. Corbin eggs on Dolph Ziggler to go ahead with his rematch against Seth Rollins for the Intercontinental title, he promises Seth is in no condition to compete and he will have no choice but to strip him of the title. Dolph is convinced and tell Corbin to book it. Corbin gloats how great he is at his job.

In the locker room, The Bellas and Natalya are talking about how proud they are of Ronda. She walks in and asks for advice about issuing an open challenge, Nikki starts to talk about when she was champion, but gets cut off. And so the seeds continue to fall for a Nikki vs Ronda match. Urgh.

Chad Gable with Bobby Roode vs Viktor with Konnor

Result: Gable wins by pinfall. So they spend the last two weeks saying what a great team Roode and Gable are making, and then put Gable in a singles match. Logic…clearly not required.

Seth Rollins is here. He’s just had the bad news delivered. He will fight tonight, because this is still Monday Night Rollins.

In the ring, the gong sounds, the lights go out and…

The Deadman returns

The Undertaker calls Triple H a broken soul and delusional. He says that Triple used to be savage, but now he plays a corporate game, and his battlefield is a boardroom. He says Shawn Michaels will be in Triple H’s corner in Australia, and he’s ok with that, because in his corner will be …his brother Kane!

Bayley and Sasha Banks come out with some of the Connor’s Cure kids to cheers from the WWE Universe.

Bayley with Sasha Banks vs Dana Brooke

Result: Bayley with the easy win over Dana Brooke

Authors of Pain – Akam & Rezar with Drake Maverick vs Gregory James & Barrett Brown

Result: Squash. AOP win with the Super Collider.

Backstage Dolph Ziggler and Seth Rollins try get each other to back out the match. Corbin is there too.

Intercontinental Title Match Seth Rollins (c) vs Dolph Ziggler

Result: Seth Rollins wins via pinfall following the blackout stomp

Ronda Rousey’s out next. The crowd gives her a huge chant. She gives props to Alexis Bliss. Ronda name drops some legends, and then issues and open challenge to any woman in the back to come challenge her. Natalya’s music plays but she doesn’t come out. Eventually The Riott Squad drag Natalya’s beaten body out. Ruby Riott says she going to challenge Ronda. Instead the Riott Squad beat down Ronda…and here come the Bellas to her aid. Urgh.

Ladies and gentlemen…Elias.

Elias cuts the usual promo and hypes up his match against Bobby Lashley tonight. He’s interrupted by the debuting Lio Rush. He’s Bobby’s new mouthpiece.

Bobby Lashley with Lio Rush vs Elias

Result: Lashley wins by DQ. I guess? Elias attacks Lio Rush after Kevin Owens chases Lio to the ring. Messy ending, and we still have no clue if Lio and Bobby are supposed to be the good guys here? Lio showed off some great athleticism.

Ember Moon & Nia Jax vs Alicia Fox & Mickie James with Alexa Bliss

Result:The returning Nia Jaxx gets the pin on Alicia Foxx.

Backstage Baron Corbin bullies a ref, encouraging him to call the match “right down the middle.

Universal Championship Match:
Roman Reigns (c) vs Baron Corbin

Result: Reigns wins by DQ when Baron Corbin throws a chair at him. Corbin restarts the match as no DQ. Braun comes down and attacks Reigns. Corbin still can’t pin Roman. Dolph and Drew come down to help out. Still Roman survives. (Seeing a pattern yet?). Rollins and Ambrose come down to chase the heels off Roman. Roman just needs a superman punch to Braun and a spear to Corbin to win via pinfall. Nonsense.

Thanks the heavens this week’s RAW is over.
