It’s the annual ladder extravaganza. What started as a WrestleMania tradition lives on as a pay per view of it’s very own. As we get hyped for this Sunday’s event, here’s a look back at 6 memorable Money in the Bank cash-ins.

6. Alexa Bliss – Money in the Bank 2018

When global star Ronda Rousey got her first title shot against then Champion Nia Jaxx, few believed there would be any other result other than the Rowdy one walking out as champion. However, little Miss Bliss has other ideas. Fresh off winning her briefcase earlier in the night, Alexa Bliss stormed the ring and took out Ronda with the briefcase, and cashed in on Nia to steal the RAW championship.

5. Dean Ambrose – Money In The Bank 2016

It was a history making night as Seth Rollins returned from a devastating injury to overcome brother in arms, and WWE Champion Roman Reigns. However, his comeback story was short lived as the third member of The Shield made his was down with his MitB briefcase for a shock cash in, which saw all three members of the Shield WWE WWE Champion on the same night.

4. Kane – Money in the Bank 2010

The demonic Kane became the first superstar to cash in the Money in the Bank contract on the same night. After surprising the WWE Universe in a Smackdown filled MitB contest, can walked away with the guarantee title shot. However nobody could have guessed he would cash in that same night on a prone Rey Mysterio who had just retained the Heavyweight Championship against Jack Swagger. But that’s exactly what he did.

3. Randy Orton – Summerslam 2013

It was the cash-in everyone saw coming, yet nobody expected it to go down the way it did. At the height of his popularity, Daniel Bryan would go on to cleanly defeat John Cena at SummerSlam 2013 to finally become WWE Champion. However, it was a short lived moment for the fans as Randy Orton teased cashing in, only for guest referee Triple H to pedigree Daniel Bryan and allow Orton to pick up the easy pinfall.

2. Edge – New Year’s Revolution 2006

The original cash-in saw the Rated R Superstar Edge become the first man to cash in the MitB briefcase. Edge’s timing could not have been more perfect as he waited for then champion John Cena to survive a brutal Elimination Chamber, before making his way out on stage at the end of the night and handed in his briefcase to Mr. McMahon. Edge Speared Cena and finally won his first ever WWE Championship.

1. Seth Rollins – WrestleMania

Considered the greatest heist of all time, Seth Rollins proved himself the mastermind of The Shield as he followed his recent heel turn and Money in the Bank win up with one of the greatest WrestleMania moments ever. As the much criticised main event of Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns drew to a conclusion, Seth Rollins music hit and the Architect ran to the ring in epic fashion to turn the match into a triple threat. After nailing Brock win a curb stomp he pinned Roman Reigns to shock the universe by leaving WrestleMania as WWE Champion.
