American Frances Tiafoe has announced that he will no longer be working with coach Wayne Ferreira in the upcoming ATP season.

Tiafoe, who is still only 25-years-old, is currently ranked 16th in the world.

Tiafoe hit new heights in his career under the tutelage of South Africa’s Ferreira, reaching his maiden Grand Slam semi-final at the 2022 US Open and reaching a career-high No 10 in the ATP Rankings.

“Just wanted to say thanks to this guy,” wrote Frances Tiafoe in an Instagram story featuring a picture of himself and Ferreira during practice.

“Three years shared together… SHEESH we had a ton of success. But sadly we’ve decided to part ways. Thanks for getting me to the player I am today. Nothing but love and respect for you. My guy Wayne Ferreira.”

Tiafoe has hired Diego Moyano as his new coach.
