Football fans in Mzansi are now divided and react to ex-Mamelodi Sundowns star Lesedi Kapinga’s move to Orlando Pirates.

The football family naturally reacted to the big news as many praised Pirates for showing ambition by signing Kapinga to challenge Sundowns in the DStv Premiership.

Some of the fans feel Kapinga has finally joined a club that will recognise his quality and that Pirates will eventually win the league title, said the fans.

While some football fans are blasting Kaizer Chiefs for ‘sleeping on the job’ , some from Sundowns say Kapinga will not win trophies at Pirates under Jose Riveiro because he is a reject.

PIRATES SIGN EX-SUNDOWNS STAR, FANS DIVIDED

The South African reported on Tuesday morning that the 28-year-old midfielder, Kapinga is the sixth player to join the Buccaneers this window.

He was rumoured to be a target of Chiefs but opted to join their Soweto rivals instead.
