The debate over whether Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi is the greatest-ever footballer remains a matter of opinion, and is unlikely to be settled any time soon.

Ronaldo is currently plying his trade for Al Nassr, and featured in a comeback win over bottom-of-the-league Al Batin on Friday.

However, with Al Nassr having unexpectedly trailed at half-time, footage has emerged showing a spectator seemingly throwing a chirp Ronaldo’s way as he walked up the tunnel.

The spectator can be clearly heard suggesting ‘Messi is so much better (than you)’, and although Ronaldo can be heard responding, it’s not clear who he was talking to.

The correct translation appears to suggest he was reiterating that it was an “easy game” despite the unconvincing start to the match.
