Kaizer Chiefs and Nasreddine Nabi are deadlocked in negotiations, with Soweto rivals Orlando Pirates seemingly throwing a spanner in the works.

At the moment, any deal between Nasreddine Nabi and Kaizer Chiefs is still in the balance. The Tunisian boss is insisting upon bringing a number of Yanga technical staff with him, including a man by the name of Helmi Gueldich.

Why have Orlando Pirates complicated matters?
Well, the Buccaneers are courting Gueldich, who happens to be the Young Africans fitness and conditioning coach and a man who possesses a PhD in exercise science. If they present appealing terms to him, and he finds them attractive enough to accept, it could throw Nabi’s move to Chiefs completely off course. Gueldich is a notoriously popular and well-respected figure in the Yanga dressing room, according to reports.
