Kaizer Chiefs were once again embarrassed after minnows Milford FC sent them packing out of the Nedbank Cup on Sunday evening.

Amakhosi were expected to win easily just like Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates but the Soweto giants failed to capitalise even though their opponents were one man down.

After the match ended 0-0 after extra time, Chiefs lost 5-4 on penalties to second-tier Milford FC in the round of 32 of the Nedbank Cup.

Kaizer Chiefs were knocked out by minnows yet again

Milford’s keeper Siphamandla Hlezi was the hero at the FNB stadium having denied Ranga Chivaviro from the spot kick in extra time.

After the defeat, fans took to social media to mock Kaizer Chiefs, having suffered another embarrassing defeat in the Nedbank Cup.

Having suffered yet another defeat at the hands of minnows, Amakhosi messed up their last opportunity to end a nine-year trophyless streak.

They will have to wait for next season to end their streak.
