It’s been over two weeks since Kaizer Chiefs last took to the field of play.

Cavin Johnson’s side are enjoying a much needed break away from competitive action, but when do they return?

The Glamour Boys were a notable absentee from last weekend’s Nedbank Cup action after crashing out in their first round match against Millford.

In their previous match, Cavin Johnson’s side went down against arch rivals Orlando Pirates, adding to the growing disappointment.

Johnson’s side however have enjoyed some much needed time on the sidelines, with their next match only scheduled to take place on 30 March!

When do Kaizer Chiefs play next?

The Glamour Boys face a tricky trip to Cape Town when they face Cape Town City on 30 March.

Three days later Cavin Johnson’s side host Stellenbosch before another long trip to the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium to face Chippa United on 06 March.

Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Bruce Bvuma has opened up on his incredible rise to stardom at Naturena.

After playing second fiddle to Itumeleng Khune for over six years, Bvuma has finally cemented his place as the club’s number one keeper.

Bvuma has been incredible for Cavin Johnson since being entrusted with leading his side’s defence. The Amakhosi academy graduate has kept six clean sheets in his last eight matches for Kaizer Chiefs.

I’m living my dream – Bvuma

“I can’t describe how it feels like to play for Kaizer Chiefs, it’s one of the biggest teams in Africa. It’s every child’s dream to play for his team. We grew up watching Chiefs at a very young age and for me to be part of this brand it’s a blessing,” Bvuma told Vodacom Soccer as quoted by Citizen.

“I thank God for getting here. Like I said, it’s been my dream since I was young watching the likes of Itu (Khune). He is a legend, I grew up watching him a lot, Brian Baloyi and all the legends of the team. They inspired me to also come here and play, and for me to be here now is a blessing.”
