Orlando Pirates returned to DStv Premiership action on Tuesday night against Royal AM.
The Buccaneers took an early lead in the 15th minute after Zakhele Lepasa converted a penalty kick into the bottom.
This came after Patrick Maswanganyi was foolishly brought down in the box by Samuel Manganyi.
Orlando Pirates extended their lead in the the 30th minute thanks to wonderful top-corner finish by Monnapule Saleng. Take a look at the goal below!

“I think the last time we lost a game was against Kaizer Chiefs in February. After that we had a fantastic record together and if I have to lose one game, I would like to do it like how we did today, fighting until the end.” Orlando Pirates coach Jose Riveiro told reporters.
“We created opportunities…. Pushed our opponent to the limit. It’s football, it can happen like it happened today that you perform like this and you go home with zero points.
“We are lucky that we get to play on Tuesday again at home and to show there that today was just an accident to lose.”
Royal AM want three points from Orlando Pirates
“I think this game becomes more important for us because we’ve just come from a draw against AmaZulu this past weekend so it’s vital for us to try and grab all three points in the upcoming matc against Orlando Pirates.” Siphesihle Msomi told IOL.
