UPDATE: Blockbuster new Chiefs signing soon set to arrive

Chiefs are reportedly set to welcome talented Bafana midfielder Thabo Cele to Naturena as a new signing this week on a three-year deal.

As Chiefs head towards the start of the new season, there is an increasing sense of optimism as a new-look squad has begun to take shape.

Notably, it was reported by SABC Sport that Chiefs are seriously reigniting interest in luring talented Thabo Cele to Naturena, with the playmaker having previously been linked to the club as far back as 2021.

According to popular online source Unplayable, the playmaker has indeed agreed to join the club.

“He’s terminated his contract with the team from Poland (Radomak). He should be here on Wednesday or Thursday to sign (a three-year deal),” stated a reported source.

In the latest report from SABC Sport, the public broadcaster stated that “Cele will become a free agent from 1 August following a decision by Radomiak not to extend his contract further”.
