Orlando Pirates and Ghana goalkeeper Richard Ofori won’t be short of options should he decide to leave the club.

Ofori on his way out of Pirates

According to FARPost, Ghanaian keeper Richard Ofori will consider leaving the club after falling down the pecking order.

“It appears the Buccaneers (Pirates) haven’t spoken to Ofori over the possibility of renewing his contract with two months left before it expires. The Accra-born, Ofori is allowed to pen a pre-contract with any club of his choice as he’s now within the final six months of his contract with the Soweto giants. Furthermore, two clubs from outside South Africa have shown interest in the 30-year-old.” Wrote the publication.

THREE-YEAR DEAL FOR HANAMUB?

Ironically, Riaan Hanamub’s career started at Orlando Pirates Windhoek before his first big break with Jomo Cosmos in South Africa. He also spent just under two years with Chippa. Including his stint with AmaZulu, Hanamub has appeared in 110 Dstv Premiership matches if you include two promotion-relegation playoff assignments with the Chilli Boys.

“He has been offered a three-year contract. That’s the initial one. They will discuss the other issues when he joins the team during the off-season. You know he is 29 years of age and by 2027 he will be 32 years and can still renew at that time. But that’s the offer to the player and the other issues are between club and club but the deal is as good as done at the star moment,” said a source to Soccer-Laduma

Red-hot striker wants Bucs

Swazi striker Sabelo Ndzinisa has been a revelation for Green Mamba Big Bend. He got 11 goals and 11 assists across all competitions last season for the Eswatini outfit. He’s got experience in the CAF Champions League too, and has 15 goals in 58 caps for his national team.

“I guess it could be a good thing if what they are saying (Pirates rumours) is true because so far, there has been nothing official that has reached me. You can’t get away from it once it comes, which I think could be deliberated, hopefully after tomorrow’s (Sunday) game,” said Ndzinisa on the speculation to KickOff.com
