Moroka Swallows want a win as they will host Kaizer Chiefs this weekend and that is a warning from midfielder Tlakusani Mthethwa, saying Steve Komphela will be mad if they draw.
Mthethwa says the former Chiefs mentor coach, Komphela has instilled a winning mentality in the Swallows dressing room and Chiefs will be tested.

The talented midfielder and Andile Jali are set to be key for the Dube Birds when they are involved in a Soweto derby at Dobsonville Stadium.
Looking at the log table, Swallows have done well under Komphela – they sit fifth on the log and have collected 18 points from 10 matches compared to Chiefs 14 from 12 matches.

MTHETHWA: KOMPHELA WILL BE MAD IF WE DRAW VS. CHIEFS
Spilling the beans during a media briefing ahead of the eagerly anticipated DStv Premiership encounter against a struggling Chiefs on Sunday, Mthethwa shared that Komphela is dead set against any losses.

“Each and every game has pressure for us because our coach needs all the wins that he can get,” said Mthethwa per Phakaaathi.
“If we draw, he is not happy at all because he comes from a winning club and has had that implanted in his DNA…
“That he has to get three points in each and every game. So, I cannot say that playing Chiefs brings us pressure.

“We knew long ago that we would play Kaizer Chiefs, so we have been preparing for the game.
“It might bring a little more pressure because the supporters will be out in full force at Dobsonville, but some of us are used to that.
“But we will need to guide those who are not used to such types of games, with that fan capacity.”

AKPEYI ON KOMPHELA’S PHILOSOPHY AHEAD OF CHIEFS TIE
In addition, Mthethwa’s teammate and keeper Daniel Akpeyi admits that facing a struggling outfit mentored by Cavin Johnson will not be easy.
“Playing a team that is kind of struggling is a difficult one to play,” adds the ex-Chiefs keeper.

“It’s not gonna be an easy one on Sunday because they are looking for points everywhere, we are looking to sustain our position on the log.
“So, this is gonna be the case of two lions fighting. We are already expecting what is to come on that day and we are prepared for it.”
