PSL players at risk of suspension

Five top-flight players have so far accumulated three bookings in the league. One more yellow card for any of these players and they’ll serve a mandatory one-match suspension:

  • Sifiso Hlanti (Kaizer Chiefs)
  • Mgongeni Gumede (AmaZulu)
  • Thshegofatso Mabasa (Swallows)
  • Jayden Adams (Stellenbosch)
  • Sibongiseni Mthethwa (Stellenbosch)

In terms of players who are actually suspended for this round, Musa Nyatama of Swallows and Stellies duo Brendon Moloisana and Devin Titus will sit this weekend out.

Kaizer Chiefs welcome Royal AM to FNB Stadium

The Glamour Boys strung together two consecutive wins in the league prior to the break. After that, they counted themselves a little unlucky to draw 1-1 with Sundowns in the MTN8 semi-final first leg. Chiefs host MaMkhize’s Royal AM side on Saturday, September 16th at FNB Stadium. Kickoff is at 17:30. Molefi Ntseki will be delighted to welcome back a quartet of key stars in the shape of Ranga Chivaviro, Nkosingiphile Ngcobo, Edmilson Dove and Keagan Dolly.
