With just one round of matches remaining in the 2022/23 DStv Premiership season, it’s down to the wire for teams wishing to clinch MTN8 places next season.

Heading into the final round of fixtures, only FIVE teams have mathematically confirmed their spots in the knockout tournament in 2023/24.
Those sides are Mamelodi Sundowns, Orlando Pirates, SuperSport United, Kaizer Chiefs and Cape Town City FC.

There are a further SIX teams who could potentially book their spots next weekend – although some have stronger chances than others.
Those still vying for places are Stellenbosch FC, Sekhukhune United, Golden Arrows, Swallows, TS Galaxy and Royal AM.

The overall winner of the MTN8 tournament will walk away a cool R8 million richer with the seven other participants banking R700 000 each
