SuperSport United have officially announced the signing of Senegalese striker Serigne Mamour Niang after his impressive trial stint.

SuperSport United have officially announced the signing of Senegalese striker Serigne Mamour Niang after his impressive trial stint.

Niang, 23, spent a few weeks training with SuperSport United, and Gavin Hunt was happy to add him to the list of players he currently has.
SuperSport United took to social media platforms on Thursday to unveil the Niang, who is the younger brother of Mame Niang.

According to Matsatsantsa, Niang has penned a one-and-a-half year deal, meaning he will still be there come next season.
The arrival of Niang could pave way for Thamsanqa Gabuza to leave SuperSport United for Stellenbosch FC in the current transfer window.

As reported on The South African website, Gabuza has reportedly agreed personal terms with Stellies BUT SuperSport United wanted to hold on to him until they find a suitable replacement.

The news of Gabuza possibly joining Stellies came just less than a week after Kaizer Chiefs had signed Thatayaone Ditlhokwe on a pre-contract from SuperSport United.
