Stuart Baxter picks ONE Kaizer Chiefs star Bafana Bafana WILL benefit from!

Kaizer Chiefs coach Stuart Baxter has picked ONE Amakhosi star player he feels Bafana Bafana will benefit massively from.

According to Baxter, Bafana Bafana are going to get a lot of good service from Chiefs utility player Njabulo Blom in the next few years.

Blom, 21, has done tremendously well for himself in various positions at Chiefs since making his debut, and that has seen him cement his place in the Bafana Bafana setup.

And while he hasn’t been a regular for Bafana Bafana despite making Hugo Broos’ squads, Baxter feels Blom has a big game in him and that will benefit the national team.

“The national team is going to get a lot of good service from him (Blom) as you move down the years,” Baxter told the media.

“If there’s one player, with no disrespect to the other players, that’s got a big game in him and where he can step up, and has the right ingredients to step up at a very high level, I think that’s Njabulo Blom,” he added.

Blom recently bagged a man of the match award in the Soweto Derby against Orlando Pirates, and Baxter said for him, it wasn’t only about the youngster having a good game but inspiring those who had been in his shoes.

“It’s massive. It isn’t just about him having a good game. It’s about the inspiration he gives to others that have been where he’s been,” added Baxter.
