South Africa will come to a standstill this afternoon when Orlando Pirates host Stellenbosch at the Orlando Stadium.

The Buccaneers hold a slender advantage heading into today’s MTN8 semi-final second leg after picking up a dramatic 2-1 victory in the first leg.

Olivier Toure opened the scoring for Stellenbosch however Zakele Lepasa leveled matters for the visitors on the hour mark.

It then took a 94th minute Deon Hotto goal to earn a crucial first leg away win for the Buccaneers.

Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo will return to action for the Buccaneers this afternoon after missing out on their midweek DStv Premiership loss against Mamelodi Sundowns through suspension.

Jose Riveiro will undoubtedly welcome his return, filling the visible void he left in the middle of the park.

The national broadcaster, SABC, have confirmed that today’s match will be televised live on SABC 1. The match will also be televised live on SuperSport PSL. Today’s second leg between Orlando Pirates and Stellenbosch gets underway at 15:00.

“We’ll go forward or go home. That’s the thing that changes approaches. It changes everything. Stellenbosch are not coming to Orlando for points, but to try and get to the final.”
