STRIKER SEARCH ONGOING AT KAIZER CHIEFS

According to SoccerLaduma, the club is still intent on bringing in another striker to ease the goal-coring burden on top-scorer Ashley du Preez. Iqraam Rayners from Stellenbosch and Cape Town City’s Khanyisa Mayo are two long-standing targets. The attractive thing about both players is that they’re versatile and can plug into several different systems. Rayners can operate through the middle or in wide areas, whereas Mayo has the intelligence to be deployed just behind a number 9 or up top.
