SOWETO DERBY: KAIZER CHIEFS AND ORLANDO PIRATES DATES CONFIRMED
Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates fans will be pleased to know that the first league match between the two sides will be on 11 November.

As usual, this biggest domestic encounter will be played at FNB Stadium with Amakhosi being the home team on the day.
Kick-off is at 15:00.

The reverse fixture of the Soweto Derby league match is penciled for Saturday, 9 March 2024, this time at Orlando Stadium with Pirates as the hosts.
Kick-off for that fixture is scheduled for 15:30.

Of course, there is a possibility of both Chiefs and Pirates meeting again in Cup competitions but the abovementioned are already confirmed.

According to the fixture schedule, Sundowns will begin their league title defence away to Sekhukhune United on 4 August.

Likewise, Pirates will also be on the road, and they face a tough fixture against Stellenbosch FC on Saturday, 6 August.
Chiefs will be at home against Chippa United who are coached by Morgan Mammila; the same man who masterminded a win over them last term.

Newly-promoted sides Cape Town Spurs and Polokwane City will face TS Galaxy and Cape Town City respectively on 6 August.
There is a KwaZulu-Natal derby on the opening week of the season as Royal AM will welcome AmaZulu at Chartsworth Stadium.

Golden Arrows will host Moroka Swallows while SuperSport United will be at home against Richards Bay FC in what will be Kaitano Tembo’s first match as coach of the Natal Rich Boyz.
The league’s final matches will be on 25 May 2024 with Cape Town Spurs hosting Chiefs, Cape Town City visiting Sundowns and Pirates welcoming SuperSport United.
