It seems like Europe is the way to go for some of South Africa’s top sides with both Orlando Pirates and now Mamelodi Sundowns confirmed to be heading abroad! In the past weeks, it was confirmed that Pirates will host their pre-season in Spain, bit has been Sundowns who had their destination confirmed. Sundowns had a rather weird season in the 2022/23 campaign, as although they dominated the local league as per usual in recent times, with a record sixth title in a row, they failed to win any of the other three competitions they were involved in.
