Bafana Bafana has been hit by a number of injuries ahead of their back-to-back 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. Hugo Broos’ men face-off against Benin and Rwanda in the next coming days. The team went into camp at the University of Pretoria on Monday 13 November 2023, but injury woes have had an impact on the team’s composition and frustrated Broos. Bafana will be without their top star Lyle Foster, who is taking a break to focus on his mental health. Foster is not part of the team in camp and Broos stated that the Burnley player’s omission was due to a medical problem.
