Sithebe rejects new AmaZulu deal, Kaizer Chiefs move imminent?

Kaizer Chiefs appear to be in pole position to sign AmaZulu midfielder Siyethemba Sithebe after weeks of speculation around the player’s future.

Latest reports suggest that Sithebe and AmaZulu had been in talks over a possible contract extension.

However, AmaZulu have now ended those talks after Sithebe rejected the proposed deal to stay at the club beyond June 2022.

Sithebe’s contract is coming to an end in June, meaning he can sign a pre-contract with a club of his choice now that he has entered the final six months of his deal with AmaZulu.

According to Soccer Laduma, Sithebe’s move to Chiefs is as good as done, and perhaps the only thing left is for Usuthu to decide if they will keep him for the remainder of the season or release him before the end of the January transfer window.

DID SITHEBE SIGN A PRE-CONTRACT WITH KAIZER CHIEFS?

Local media reports have revealed that Sithebe could be unveiled by Chiefs this week as the club aims to get ‘their man’ for the second half of the season.

And this could mean Sithebe possibly signed a pre-contract with Chiefs even before his contract talks with AmaZulu.

If that’s the case, Chiefs can wait until the end of the season to have Sithebe, especially if AmaZulu decide to continue using him for the second half of the season.
