Richards Bay star SUSPENDED for Kaizer Chiefs clash

Richards Bay will face Kaizer Chiefs this afternoon without one of their key midfielders who misses out through suspension

Kaizer Chiefs return to action this afternoon when they host Richards Bay FC at the FNB Stadium.

Cavin Johnson will be hoping to make it three wins on the trot as Amakhosi head coach.

Richards Bay on the other hand will be desperate for points. The KwaZulu-Natal based side sit in the relegation zone with just 10 points from 14 matches.

Star Richards Bay midfielder Boikanyo Ramathlakwane Komane won’t play any part in today’s clash for the visitors.

The midfielder who has made 15 appearances for Bay this season, scoring two goals, is ruled out through suspension.

Action at the FNB Stadium gets underway at 15:30. The match will be televised live on SuperSport PSL.

We have enough quality – Johnson

“Look I think we have enough quality in the team, I just think they have not been given enough opportunities as individuals and I think the way we assess them, or the way we analyse them as part of the Chiefs family,” Johnson told iDiskiTimes

“I think that needs to be a little better between myself and my coaching staff. Because then we can give them more, they can be more positive towards themselves.

“If you did come to Kaizer Chiefs as an average player, then we will make you a better player. I think we need to get in their skin right now and there are good players.”
