Nurkovic lawyers up

I do expect them to pay inside this prescribed deadline in order to put this case all behind us once and for all, and to avoid additional bans,” Nurkovic’s lawyer Davor Lazic told SABC Sport.

“I don’t’ see a way in which the club wouldn’t respect a FIFA decision. There is no way to appeal this anymore – it’s either you respect it or not. If you don’t, then you face the consequences as a club.

“And if you want to be a part of FIFA and world football then you should follow the rules.”

Royal AM to face the music

If MaMkhize’s side fail to pay Nurkovic by Monday, they face possible and severe sanctions from FIFA, which could include being banned from signing players for at least two transfer windows.

Will Thwihli Thwahla appeal the ruling? We shall see. As for Nurkovic; the former Kaizer Chiefs number 9 has been training with Cape Town City. Head coach Eric Tinkler apparently likes what he sees!
