KAIZER CHIEFS UPGRADE THEIR CENTRAL MIDFIELD OPTIONS

Sibongiseni Mthethwa, a new arrival from Stellenbosch, is set to be the starting number 6 under Molefi Ntseki. Yusuf Maart and Edson Castillo were deployed alongside him in a midfield three against. It seems as though Siyethemba Sithebe is now far down the pecking order.

“You know there were talks to renew Sithebe for another year until June 2025 but since the team has signed Sibongiseni (Mthethwa), it doesn’t look good for Sithebe,” the Siya source reported on SoccerLaduma.

“The club would like to see him finish his contract but they won’t renew it. But also there is the possibility of him moving earlier than that if there are offers in January whether on loan or a permanent move,” they added.
