The 2023/24 DStv Premiership season is days away from resuming after breaking for the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in the Ivory Coast.

The season will resume on Tuesday, 13 February with five matches scheduled.

As a reminder, defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns lead the way with 38 points after 14 matches.

Masandawana are nine points ahead of second-placed Cape Town City FC who have also played two more matches, as have third-placed SuperSport United.

At the bottom of the standings, Cape Town Spurs boast just four points from 16 matches to date and are nine points behind second-from-bottom Richards Bay.

Matches start with a bang next Tuesday with both Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates in action.
