Namibian international Deon Hotto scored the only goal in Orlando Pirates’ 1-0 win over TS Galaxy on Saturday.

The 33-year-old’s free-kick helped the Buccaneers move into fifth place in the DStv Premiership standings.
The goal was Hotto’s 21st for the Soweto giants in all competitions – the most by any Orlando Pirates player – since he joined the club in the 2020/21 season.
Hotto joined the Buccaneers from Wits, having previously also represented Golden Arrows and Bloemfontein Celtic in the PSL top-flight.

Orlando Pirates have three more league matches remaining in 2023.
They will be on the road against Golden Arrows (Sunday, 17 December at 15:30) and SuperSport United (Saturday, 23 December at 17:45), before finishing the year at home against Stellenbosch FC on Friday, 29 December at 20:00.
There’s no doubt Buccaneers fans will be looking to Hotto to help give them more to smile about this festive season.
