You could be the owner of a Premier Soccer League (PSL) side for just R12 million after a club owner listed his team for sale

A new PSL status is up for sale according to the latest Motsepe Foundation Championship reports.

All Stars, who many will remember from their recent Nedbank Cup round of 32 outing against Orlando Pirates, are up for SALE.

The Motsepe Foundation Championship side, formerly Cape Town All Stars, have found the going tough since relocating to Johannesburg.

And club chairman Lunga Ncwana is ready to let go of his PSL status for a price that seems fairly reasonable!

PSL side up for sale for R12 million

According to SABC SPORT, All Stars are ready to listen to offers for their status. The club have set their asking price at just R12 million.

All Stars currently sit in sixth position on the log standings with five games to go. There’s no chance for promotion for them this season, however they’re well safe from relegation.

South Africa are set to have a new representative in the English Premier League after Lyle Foster and Burnley secured automatic promotion to the English top flight!

Foster secured a blockbuster move to the English championship side from Belgium side KVC Westerlo in January.

Following tonight’s victory over Middlesbrough, Burnley have secured automatic promotion to the English Premier League.

Vincent Kompany’s side sit in first position on the log standings with a healthy 11 point lead. They officially can’t be chased down by third placed Luton!

Lyle Foster has made 11 appearances for Burnley, scoring once and assisting once!

Lyle Foster set for English Premier League jump with Burnley!

Benni McCarthy was South Africa’s only representative in the English Premier League this season. (Albeit as a finishing coach at Manchester United)

The last South African to play in the English Premier League was Percy Tau, two seasons back.

Tau made just two English Premier League performances for Brighton and Hove Albion during the 2020/21 campaign.

2023/24 promises to be a better year for South Africa in the English Premier League with Lyle Foster in line to feature in it!

While it remains to be seen whether Vincent Kompany makes wholesale changes to his squad for the ‘big leagues’, South African football fans will be keeping a close eye on proceedings!
